Well, here's the deal. These skirts retail for $129. But I have Size M-L (it's a boutique size 2 which the company calls a Large but we say a size M could wear too-- check measurements below).
Anyway....We only have that size left but you have your choice of the color camel or burgundy. (We're showing the burgundy skirt with a matching vest, but I'm sorry, those vests are sold out--thus the below cost price on the skirt).
And, if you have an artist vein....you'll want this one!
Really hard to describe but here goes:
This skirt is absolutely to die for if you want something cutting edge and funky that no one else has!!
Picture is a bit distorted because I used artist tape to pull up the side so you could see what the bottom looks like. In picture #4 I tied a couple of the ties and zoomed in so you could see those, too.
First its that wild rumpled look -- with a small elastic waist (only about 1/4" wide) and is sewn in bias panels--inset vees or godets so it is SO full and jaggedy. Lined in poly that feels like a heavy georgette. There is satin ribbon and also applied lace across front and back which should fall at about the pelvic area. The bottom is jaggedy-jaggedy-jaggedy--very Stevie Nicks if I've ever seen one!!
Then, the sides or front or back or...well anywhere can be "tied up" because there are ties hanging pretty much wherever you may want to tie it to change the look. Just well, FUNKY.
It is poly, but sorta heavy poly--not your momma's poly that's for sure! And, again, the lining is lighter and semi sheer. Hand wash, lay flat to dry or dry clean. You want it rumpled.
Boutique Size 2 (M-L)
Waist across the front (so double it) unstretched is 12" and stretches to 18".
Hips 20" across the front without stretching and you can get another 2" of stretch without the skirt losing it's "drape".
Length is 29" on the short 42" on the long jaggedy pieces, but remember you can do what you want with the length--if you want it shorter, use the ties. They are placed strategically everywhere. You can do it any which way you want--or leave them untied and hanging--either way it looks great. Also, if you like more of a longer skirt and are concerned that the shortest piece is 29" you don't even notice it. It just seems so jaggedy, it just seems like a long one. So this'll truly fit a tall gal and a short gal too because of the ties and knots you can put in it.
When you pay, please tell me if you'd like burgundy or the nougat-y camel color!
